Hot Chocolate and Cookie Fundraiser


On December 11, 2018, from 2-4pm, The Time Travelers gathered at Tractor Supply to sell homemade hot cocoa and freshly baked cookies to fund their trip to Fort Macon in Beaufort, North Carolina.





The menu included chocolate chip and sugar cookies, whoopie pies, and homemade hot chocolate.


In addition to selling yummy treats, they conducted a poll to gather the opinion of people for a project they are working on about Dolley Madison, President James Madison's wife.  The question was: Where do you think Dolley Madison was born, Person or Guilford County?  By the end of the of the fundraiser, The Time Travelers had 32 opinions on the subject.  17 of the people that answered our survey question believed Dolley Madison was born in Person county, 3 remarked on Guilford County's behalf, and 12 did not know.

Thanks to everyone who supported The Time Travelers for buying goodies, giving generous donations, and answering our survey question.
