The Time Travelers is a history club for students in Grades 4 - 12 based in Person County, North Carolina.  Currently, we have members from across the Piedmont region. Our goals are to learn history and to show others how fun that pursuit can be.  To that end, we take lots of field trips, participate in and host history-based events, and participate in history competitions like the Tar Heel Junior Historian competitions and National History Day.     We welcome other people who are history-minded to join us on our adventures.  Click here to visit our public Facebook group and stay in the know.  If you're interested in joining the club, please send our advisor a message through that page.

Image
Are you up on your North Carolina trivia?  Do you know about all the things that make this state great?  Test your skills at 1792 Beer Company on Wednesday, January 12, at 6:30 PM.  There will even be a food truck - Don Taco will be there so you can have your tacos and play, too.  Whether you're a pro at pub trivia or a total newbie, this is the place to be.  Here's out it works:   It's free to play. Play in teams of up to six. There are four rounds of play with four categories each (people, places, events, and sports) along with a bonus question, Final-Jeopardy style. No googling!   Turn your answer sheets in to the Time Travelers each round for your score to be counted. The team with the highest score at the end wins a pizza gift certificate and a really nice stepping stone.  Another team will win a NC tee from 1792 by random drawing.     There's nothing to lose and everything to gain at NC trivia night!  Grab your friends and come to play! *NC Trivia is sponsored by
